About Dr. Minh

Dr. Minh is a child clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor at Vietnam National University (VNU), University of Education in Hanoi (VNU- UED). She is also the Director of the Center for Information, Research and Application in Psychology (CRISP) at VNU.

She received the M.Sc. (2002) and Ph.D. (2006) degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Toulouse in France, and joined VNU in 2007. She completed a post-doc at Vanderbilt University, USA (2008-2009) and a Fulbright Visiting Scholar (2016-2017) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Much of her professional work has involved international collaborations. The overall focus of her scholarship is on the development, evaluation, dissemination and implementation of evidence-based interventions for child and adolescent mental health in low- and middle-income countries such as Vietnam.

Dr. Minh has served as PI on a number of studies in this area, including the development and evaluation of the first school-based mental health program in Vietnam. She has experience in working with schools to set up and coordinate mental health services. She also provides individual psychotherapy for children from age 6, adolescents, and their families in clinic and school settings.
