The Department of Law, Philosophy and International Studies are located in Lillehammer and Rena.
Approximately 30 employees and 900 students are affiliated with the department.
The Department of Law, Philosophy and International Studies offers a Bachelor in Law, a Bachelor in International Studies with History, a One-Year Programme in International Studies with History and Examen Philosophicum, Examen Facultatum as well as courses in ethics and the philosophy of science at bachelor, master and PhD levels.
In addition, the department offers programmes of study in health law, labour law and other law-related courses.
The department is located in both Lillehammer and Rena. Teaching in relation to the department’s bachelor programmes takes place in Lillehammer.
