Faculty Councils

The Faculty Council Scheme was established in 2018 through the University Board’s processing of Case 62/18 concerning collaboration, contribution and co-determination at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences’ faculties.

Based on the Board's decision, a mandate has been drawn up and the election of employee representatives and the appointment of external representatives have been carried out during the autumn of 2019.

The Norwegian Film School is the only faculty that has retained its specific form of organisation in the merger. Departmental boards had been established at the former Lillehammer University College (HiL), and the Norwegian Film School has maintained this form of organisation after the merger as a collaborative body involving strong industry representation.
