On Monday the 11th of March, INNs rector Peer Jacob Svenkerud had the pleasure to welcome the start of the meeting. He expressed the importance of building cooperation internationally and becoming a more internationally orientated institution. He also informed that INN is reporting on the SDGs for the first time in 2024.

While INN is still working on becoming a fully accredited university it is very important to discuss the discourse at INN and shift their attention on sustainability issues. The Centre for Collaborative Learning for Sustainable Development supports this work and continues to bring attention to sustainability both within INN, locally, nationally and internationally.

The remaining time of the meeting was used to discuss the next phase of the UNESCO Chair (2024-2027), the priority action areas that have been identified and how the objectives will be achieved. The IAB members were eager to discuss, suggest and recommend ways forward.
