What is a digital escape room?
Escape rooms introduce a mystery with a series of puzzles that have to be solved to get the key to escape. They require logic, critical thinking and curiosity to escape before the time runs out.
Digital escape rooms – also called digital breakouts – are escape rooms that are run on a digital platform. They introduce a mystery can only solved through solving digital locks., These locks are codes that must be correctly typed into a form in order to figure out the mystery.
How do I play?
- The game can be played on any device, but works best on a big screen (computer screen or external monitor).
- The escape room contains all the clues necessary to solve the mystery, so any snooping outside on the rest of the internet is cheating. That means NO GOOGLING!
- The game may be played individually or in teams. But we highly recommend teamwork! Connect with your team members on any platform that works for you: Zoom, Teams, Skype, etc.
- The timer is set for 45 minutes. Bur yes –if the timer stresses you, you can play without the it too.
