About the book
The book provides a comprehensive insight into the theory and practice of public innovation using a wide range of research evidence about the processes, drivers and barriers, stakeholders and outcomes of innovation. By drawing on the lens of public value, the book engages in timely discussions on how public innovation is valued and contested in current societies.
Valuing Public Innovation aims to help develop a deeper understanding of innovation and how to use that knowledge in practical ways and will be relevant for academics and students but also policy makers and practitioners involved in innovation in or with the public sector.
INNOFF invites the authors to share their reflections on key topics addressed in the book, which is based on their long-standing scholarly engagement with public sector innovation. The online event will be monitored by Maria Taivalsaari Røhnebæk, Associate Professor at INN and chair of INNOFF. The audience will be able to provide comments and questions for the authors in the chat.
