Every week during Advent, there is an Advent celebration with cultural elements and serving of gingerbread and "gløgg" on level 2 in Glassgården.
This morning we light the three candles in the Advent candlestick and sing the Norwegian song Tenn lys!
The Norwegian Filmschool Lucia spectacle came about as there were many employees from Sweden when the Filmschool opened in 1997. Since then, the Lucia spectacle has been a tradition at the Lillehammer campus.
"I miss you Christmas tree
On the first Monday in Advent, we also open the traditional Christmas tree in Glassgården.
On this Christmas tree, we are invited to hang a red heart where we have written someone or something we miss in our lives. We all carry things we don't show and don't see. Missing is part of it and you are not alone. The I miss you Christmas tree is in Glassgården throughout the month of December.
