He leads a research group studying how individuals react to collective problems such as climate change, using surveys and experiments to predict behaviour from thoughts, identities, personalities, and social context.
Cameron urges that the climate crisis is an absolute emergency, and because of the limited time to make systematic changes towards an energy transition and circular consumption, ask everyone to please get involved. Cameron is also an Associate Editor at Global Environmental Psychology.
He will be giving a talk about the intersections of theory and method when investigating impactful pro-environmental behaviour.
