During his career, Leif has conducted research on the topics of recovery after work, ergonomics, and job satisfaction. Leif has been active in conducting research in the intersection between organisational psychology and environmental psychology.
He is also a member of the research group on Environmental Psychology at the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences.
His personal research interests are, among others, the recovery process, cognitive aspects of recovery and detachment from work.
He will be giving a talk about the importance of lunch breaks and restitution from work.
