Lillehammer is best known as host for the Winter Olympics 1994. As a UNESCO City of Literature, it is a cultural center of Inland Norway with a rich history. In walking distance to the venue, you can explore Norwegian architecture from the 13th century to today in the open-air museum Maihaugen and visit the Olympics Museum. Lillehammer is also known for its Museum of Art and the fairytale adventure park Hunderfossen. Extend your stay and explore the close-by Nationalparks Rondane to the east and Jotunheimen to the west of Lillehammer.

Scandic Lillehammer Hotel opened its doors in 1911, and is the regions biggest meeting point for conferences, vacations and weekend adventures. The property is located in a large private park near the city centre. The conference department consists of 17 large and small meeting rooms.
