Short description

Endre Hofstad Hansen is an associate professor in forestry, specialized in forest inventory and mapping. 

I coordinate the study programme for the Master in sustainable forest management

Research projects:

CarniForeGraze (Grazing in Carnivore Forests). I lead a work package describing scenarios of sustainable livestock production in the boreal forest compatible with large carnivore presence and building spatial models that will help users and land use managers adapt and optimize outfield-based livestock production.

TaigaClimate (Forests and wildlife under pressure – systems analysis for sustainable solutions).
