Short description

I carry out research on English Language with phonetics/phonology and language history as my areas of expertise. I teach phonetics/phonology, English dialects (modern and historical), linguistic variation and change, grammar and assessment. I supervise PhD projects within phonetics, sociolinguistics and learner language, as well as MA theses on a number of topics within English language.
