Short description

I´m an Associate Professor at Inland University of Applied Sciences and the leader of the Trainome Research Group. My research interests involve how physical activity (resistance training in particular) affects physical function and health. I wish to understand the underlying mechanisms of the large response variability observed in response to training to improve our ability to provide individualised exercise prescription.

I mainly teach cell biology, human physiology, and exercise physiology at our health and exercise physiology bachelor and master program and supervise bachelor, master and PhD students.

I contribute to the podcast “Trening” produced by the section of health and exercise physiology.
