Short description

Rebecca Davies is associate professor of English Literature and Culture. Specialising in history of ideas, education and intellectual history in the British Enlightenment and Romantic period, her research incorporates children's literature, fictional representations of learning and thinking, and philosophical tracts on human understanding. She has taught in a number of higher education institutions in the UK and Norway.
