Short description
Vladimir has main research interests in landscape ecology, sustainable forestry and forest biodiversity. He has Bsc in Nature management, Msc in Forest management and PhD in Forest management (2017, Swedish University of Applied Sciences).
Vladimir specializes and takes part in teaching courses in forest management and specifically in forest biodiversity. He is also responsible for GIS courses at bachelor and master levels. Student-active learning sessions are the core of the courses. Students gain hands-on experience by solving real-world issues in forestry, land and wildlife management. By the end of a course they develop own portfolio with results from assignments.
Vladimir is a quality manager and coordinator for Erasmus+ project Forest21.
