The right to vote

In order to have the right to vote, one must be a registrated student within this semester.

How to vote

First make a short‐list of the candidates you approve. The short‐list can, by your wish, contain as many or as few of the listed candidates. Then prioritize the candidates on the short‐list after your preference. Number the candidates on the short‐list with 1 for your most preferable candidate, 2 for the next, and so on.

Example: The election is for the candidates A, B, C, D and E. As you find candidates B and E unfit, your short‐list is: A, C and D. Of these, you prefer C for the office, then you prefer A before D. Your preference is therefore 2–A, 1–C, and 3–D, while no vote is given to C and E.

Electoral register

Electoral register lists are available on request. Complaints about the electoral register are decided by the Election Board. Any complaints are dealt with on a continuous basis; the latest deadline for complaint is one week after the results has been published.

Cast your vote by following this link. The voting is carried out as a preference vote.

Counting of votes

The votes are counted by the Election Board as soon as possible after the deadline for voting has expired, and then re-checked against the electoral register and electoral protocol before being published.
