Public defence: Nadja Lipsyc

Nadja Lipsyc will defend her doctoral work at the Ph.D. program FILMART at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences on 31.05.24.

The title of the artistic doctoral outcome is: "Research as a Journey to an Aesthetic Understanding of Immersion and Participation through VR and roleplaying (LARP)"

The evaluation committee consists of:

  • First opponent: Karmenlara Ely Seidman is a professor and artistic director in acting and performance at Norwegian Theatre Academy (NTA) at Østfold University College.
  • Second opponent: David Bassuk is a professor of Acting in the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Purchase College, SUNY, School of the Arts.
  • Committee leader: Professor Steven Bachelder The Faculty of Audio-Visual Media and Creative Technologies, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences.

Dissertation supervisor is Dean Eli Bø.

The main supervisor has been Dr. Christy Dena, Former Professor II The Norwegian Film School, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences.

Co-supervisor has been Professor Siri Langdalen, The Norwegian Film School, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences.
