With the escalating threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in both human and animal health, the need for enhanced knowledge and preventive methods is critical. This project adheres to the One Health principle, which emphasizes the interconnectedness of human and animal health. One of its primary goals is to generate new insights on managing and preventing AMR on both national and international levels.

The aim is to develop a method and prototype for early, accurate, and rapid detection of infections, including PathogenID, AMR, and other factors. The prototype will have a quick response time of under 1 hour and a detailed analysis within 3 - 5 hours.

The four-year project is interdisciplinary and integrates societal, medical, veterinary, natural sciences, and novel enabling technologies. It involves collaboration across Norway and India, with seven partners from academia, the health sector, and the private sector, including the UiT Norges arktiske universitet Universitetssykehuset Nord-Norge TINE SA Animalia - Norwegian Meat and Poultry Research Center Klosser Innovasjon NCE Heidner Biocluster All India Institute of Medical Sciences HISP India Høgskolen i Innlandet

A Big thanks to all the collaborators who attended the meeting and made it a great success!!!
