The 2-day workshop (12 and 13 December 2023) was attended by 40+ participants, including Professors, Medical Doctors, Researchers, and Students. A strong Norwegian group of 9 people, including 5 students and 4 professors/researchers from HINN and UiT, participated in the workshop.
Prof. Srinivas (Director, AIIMS) and Dr. Elisabeth Strand Vigtel (Counsellor for Science, Technology and Higher Education, Royal Norwegian Embassy - New Delhi) were the guests of honors, showcasing the strong Norway – India collaboration.
More than 50% of the participants were students, covering all the levels from Bachelor, Master, and PhD. The workshop aimed to strengthen the Norway – India partnership in research and education on combating infection and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). AMR is a global health problem that all countries must work together to tackle.
