FAITHED in Glasgow

FAITHED researchers guest lecturing for master students in Global migrations & social justice at the University of Glasgow.

FAITHED researchers Anders Aschim (Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences) and Marta Bivand Erdal (Peace Research Institute Oslo) gave a "masterclass" for the MSc-students of sociologist Dominic Pasura on the programme Global migrations & social justice at the University of Glasgow on Thursday 19 October. They presented a case from FAITHED data with the title “Transferring faith: Passing on the faith in the superdiverse Catholic context in Norway” for an interested group of students coming from Scotland, Iraq, India, Turkey, Sweden, Palestine, the US and other corners of the world.

The seminar concluded Anders' four-weeks research stint at the School of Education, University of Glasgow. Roisin Coll, professor of Catholic Religious Education, has been his host at the university. Roisin and Dominic are both members of the international Advisory Board of the FAITHED project.
