Project leader for Water Matters is the Institute of Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters of the Hellenic Center for Marine Research. Objective of the project is the planning and implementation of an information and awareness campaign for students, residents and visitors on the islands of Santorini, Ios, Leros, Kalymnos, Pserimos and Telendos.

EEA Grants
The project "Increasing Knowledge of the Importance of the Good Status of Water Bodies" is implemented under the "Water Management" program co-financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through EEA Grants and the Hellenic Ministry of Development and Investment. The EEA Grants (Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area) aim to reduce economic and social inequalities and to strengthen bilateral relations with 15 European countries, among which is Greece.
