Information for visiting staff

This information applies to visiting staff from partner institutions who have a preapproved (both by home institution and INN University) short term mobility programme within Erasmus+ or an official partner visit.

If you are interested in visiting our institution either as a guest teacher or administrative staff, contact the international coordinator at the selected faculty/campus. If you intend to give lectures, due to the semester structure at INN University, we recommend to plan you visit ine the first half of the semester (August-October or January-April).

Arrival information

The most convenient way to get to Norway is to arrive at Oslo Gardermoen Airport which has connections to all main European and overseas destinations. Please be aware that arrival at the second airport Torp Sandefjord located further south from Oslo adds another 3 hours of travel.

Once you arrived at Oslo Gardermoen Airport, we recommend continuing your travel to the selected campus city by train. VY offers a direct train connection to all our campuses; depending on your destination, the journey takes from 1 h (Hamar) to 2 h (Lillehammer/Evenstad). View the routes on the official webpage or download the VY-app.

Please note that in case of flight delay, the “Low-fare” ticket will not be valid for another route. We recommend purchasing the Low-fare ticket after arrival at the airport or upgrading to “Single” beforehand (this option allows you to alternate the time and to receive a refund).
