How to apply

Register your application

1. Enter the Application portal

2. Choose preferred language (e.g. English) in the drop-down menu on the upper right corner.

3. For users without Norwegian Identification Number: Press the button 'International applicant'.

    

   1. Click on 'Register new international applicant'.

   2. Complete the form (first name, last name, e-mail address, date of birth, sex, and citizenship) and press 'Save'. You will receive a password by e-mail.

   3. Use the password you received by e-mail to log in through: Login international applicant.

4. For users with Norwegian Identification Number: Log in or register using ID-porten.

5. Fill in your personal information (some information is mandatory).

6. Find your study programme in the drop-down menu and click 'Select'.

7. Choose your application alternative. Press 'Save'.

Upload the required documents

1. Go to 'My documents'.
2. Press 'Choose new document'.
3. Fill in the required information (type of document, institution, start and end date) and click 'Choose file'.
4. Find the document on your computer and choose the file.

Please upload the necessary documents on the online application portal (you can find the list of required documents here). We recommend uploading documents as PDF files. It is your responsibility to ensure that all required documents are submitted before the application deadline. Incomplete or misleading documents will not be considered during the evaluation process.

Once you have completed your application, you will receive a confirmation e-mail at the e-mail address you provided during registration. For the duration of the application process, make sure to set your e-mail's spam filter to the lowest level as some important information is sent as bulk e-mails to all applicants.
