Norwegian language and literature II

Exchange students looking to enrol in this programme must have a high level of Norwegian language proficiency on the C1 level/equal level. It is relevant for students who wish to study Norwegian language and literature together with Norwegian students and is specifically recommended for students studying teacher education/similar degrees.

About the Programme

Students must be enrolled in Scandinavian/Norwegian studies in their home institution, and already have good Norwegian skills. You will study alongside Norwegian students. The courses are only held in Norwegian.

You will get unique background knowledge and a broader perspective of Norwegian society and language, before and now. The courses will cover the linguistic and literary development in Norway from the era of the Vikings till our day. Developing good reading and writing skills is crucial in these courses.

Application deadline and admission

The course is available only for exchange students coming from our partner institutions. A high level of Norwegian language is required entering the programme (equivalent to C1 Level).

Contact the International Office/Department at your home institution to find out if you are eligible for exchange studies at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (INN University). Please notice that applications can be submitted for one campus only.
