My PhD was about the meaning of music for First Nations children diagnosed with autism from British Columbia, Canada (Lindblom, 2017) from the University of Eastern Finland. Inclusion, diversity, Indigenous paradigms and methodologies, Indigenous perspectives on special education, teacher education and autism are some of my research interests. Born i Sweden, raised in Canada, education from grade 8 and up in Sweden. Music therapist, teacher in music and English, Special Education teacher. Lecturer and senior lecturer in Special Education at Karlstad University, Sweden, 2007- 2022. Employed at the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences since 2020. Adjunct research fellow at Charles Darwin University, Australia.
