Erik Haugom

Erik Haugom was born in Lillehammer, Norway, on February 7, 1982. He holds a PhD in Managerial Economics, Finance and Operations from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a MSc in Economic Marketing from Copenhagen Business School. His employment experience includes positions as Taxi Driver in Lillehammer, Child Welfare, and Research Planner at Omnicom Media Group. Today he is employed as a Professor in Business Administration at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. His special fields of interest include pricing analytics, energy price and volatility modeling and forecasting, risk analysis, risk management, and econometric modeling and forecasting in general.
