Min forskning fokuserer hovedsakelig på å undersøke økologien og atferden til pattedyr med det ultimate målet å finne løsninger for forbedret forvaltning og bevaring av dyreliv. Jeg er også interessert i evolusjon og vert-parasittinteraksjoner.

Jeg gjennomførte doktorgraden min om atferdekologi hos bever i Norge, der jeg studerte livshistoriestrategier og territoriell adferd hos disse fascinerende økosystemingeniørene. Jeg har en variert bakgrunn innen økologi, som spenner fra atferds- og bevegelsesøkologi til studier av invaderende arter og konflikter mellom mennesker og dyreliv. Jeg har jobbet med ulike terrestriske virveldyr, som sukkerrørpadder, pilgiftfrosker, keelback-slanger, ulike fugler, harer, hjort og bevere.

For øyeblikket jobber jeg med prosjekter som evaluerer bruken av droner for overvåking av elg, undersøker interspesifikke interaksjoner mellom bevere og andre pattedyr, og kvantifiserer mønstre av husdyrdepredasjon av store rovdyr.
