About the Programme

AR, VR and AI: Potential and Possibilities is a free online course in virtual/extended reality (AVR) and artificial intelligence (AI).

The course is open to all who are interested In how to make use of digital technology in the professional sphere, and is especiially tuned for small and medium sized businesses.

The course:

  • Gives an introduction to AR,VR and AI
  • Provides a practical approach to implementing new technology

Five Modules:

The course contains five modules:

  • Module 1: Seeing the big picture
  • Module 2: What your business needs to know about VR
  • Module 3: What your business needs to know about AR
  • Module 4: Demystifying AI
  • Module 5: The next step

The course is in English, with Norwegian and English subtitles on all the videos.
A lot of emphasize is placed on visual presentation.

There is an optional exam giving 7,5 credits. To do the exam, there is a charge of 7900 NOK, including term fee.

Requirement for enrolling is higher education entrance qualification.

Application deadline and admission

Online Course 

  • This course is entirely free and easily accessible, with flexible start and completion times via our digital learning portal.
  • You can begin immediately by registering on the course's learning platform, Learndash, at https://www.avr-ai.no/my-account/#login.
  • Upon completion of the course, you will receive a course certificate (without study credits).

Exam

  • Once you have completed the course, you have the option to take the exam*.
  • In the academic year 2024 - 2025, the exam can be taken on January 20, 2025.
  • To take the exam, you must apply for admission as a student at the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences by October 1, 2024.

* Taking the exam requires that you have a general study competence. There is also a study fee of NOK 7900 to register for the exam.
