Certificates for student representatives

All student representatives are entitled to a written certificate when their period of being a representative ends.

Certificates are awarded on the condition that the student representative’s participation in their position of trust is considered satisfactory.

The student representative must have participated in at least 75 percent of the meetings held. Similar rules apply to deputy student representatives: One must have participated in at least 75 percent of the meetings one has been summoned to.

There are separate guidelines for what is considered approved absence.

Class representatives ask their programme of study coordinator to fill out the standard certificate, and arrange directly with the programme of study coordinator whether the certificate will be picked up in person or whether it should be sent in the post.

Student representatives at faculty level and who sit on councils, committees and boards must contact the secretary of the body/agency who then fills out the standard certificate. The student representative arranges directly with the secretary of the body/agency whether the certificate will be picked up in person or whether it should be sent in the post.
