Short description

Professor Johan Kask’s research interests include the dynamics of business relationships, networks and industry transitions, as well as innovative, digital, and sustainable business models. His research is frequently related to entrepreneurs, (co-)evolutionary change, and ecosystem approaches. He employs a wide set of methods, including qualitative comparison analysis, scenario analysis, case studies, and literature reviews.

Johan Kask is a professor at the Center for Research on Digitalisation and Sustainability (CREDS). He is also a senior research affiliate at Örebro University’s Center for Inter-Organizational Research in Sweden. Kask holds a doctorate in business administration (2013) and a docent degree in marketing (2020) from Örebro University, Sweden.

Kask has an international network, collaborating with scholars of the Evolutionary Approaches in Management Studies network and of the Industrial Marketing and Purchasing (IMP) group. He is now a guest editor for three journals and sits on the editorial board as an associate editor for Journal of Small Business Enterprise Development. Kask’s work has appeared in journals such as Industrial Marketing Management, European Journal of Marketing, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, and Journal of Business Research.
