Henriksen has a master degree in political science, with specialization in political theory, from the University of Oslo. He is now taking a phd in educational science, with a focus on municipal management of local schools, at OsloMet. He has worked at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences since 2019 and has lectured in political science subjects, organizational subjects, method, school and kindergarten management. Previous experience includes work at municipal level, county level and in a ministry.

Research interests:

Includes, among other things, management, organisation and governance in the education sector, normative ethics, political theory and philosophy, liberalism, pragmatism, and perfectionism.
