Kort om

Stalheim er lærarutdanna med mastergrad i pedagogikk og har ein tverrfagleg doktorgrad i innovasjon og høgskulepedagogikk. I forskinga fokuserar Stalheim på kvalitet og innovasjon i høgare utdanning. Han har ei særlig interesse for digital teknologi og korleis teknologi vert nytta i undervisinga der studentane si læring står i sentrum. Til dømes har Stalheim forska på studentar si involvering i innovasjoner og korleis det bidreg til fagleg og personlig utvikling, i tillegg til studium som involverar Augmented Reality (AR) og Virtual Reality (VR). Stalheim er engasjert i ulike nettverk knytta til SoTL (scholarship of teaching and learning) som har ei forskande tilærming til eiga undervising.
