Short description

Stalheim was educated as a teacher with a master's degree in pedagogy and holds an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in innovation and university pedagogy. In research, Stalheim focuses on quality and innovation in higher education. He is particularly interested in digital technology and how technology is used in teaching where the student's learning is at the center. For example, Stalheim has researched students' involvement in innovations and how they contribute to professional and personal development, in addition to studies involving Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). Stalheim is involved in various networks linked to SoTL (scholarship of teaching and learning) and focuses on methodology in inquiries to teaching and learning.
