Barbara Zimmermann

Short description

Barbara Zimmermann  is professor in applied ecology at the institute of forestry and wildlife management, campus Evenstad. She is leading the research group LARGE, a team of researchers and graduate students with focus on the ecology and management of large-bodied animals. Barbara works with large carnivores and herbivores, how they affect other species, and conflicts of interest regarding the management of large-bodied species. She is also studying effects of climate change on large-bodied species, and how this needs to be integrated in future wildlife management.
